Happy New Year, readers! Even after reading only a few words, you’ve already noticed that this version of Battle Line is unlike the rest. That is why you are the most intelligent news consumers around. Because you are observant.
Every new year brings about changes, and this publication is no exception. As Battle Line’s circulation has continued to grow, one recurring suggestion has been to distribute content more frequently, but in smaller doses. That is what we intend to bring you beginning in 2023.
Rather than send six pages of news at the end of the month, news items will be sent to inboxes once or twice per week. This will keep the readership better informed and in a timelier manner. Because while we always strive to entertain the audience, our top priority remains education.
In addition, Battle Line is beginning a paid subscription service. Whereas free subscribers will receive one or two posts per month, paid subscribers will receive every post, have access to the full archive, be able to comment on stories and have the opportunity to submit letters for response. To learn more about paid subscriptions, click the red button below:
We hope you will consider supporting this publication with a paid subscription. We believe it is worth it. But if you need extra encouragement, keep in mind that last year we were the ONLY news outlet covering important stories like:
Fed up with ‘Freedom Convoy,’ Justin Trudeau pulls Tonka semi-trucks from evening toy rotation
Food Network facing financial ruin as extra virgin olive oil climbs to $3,200 a barrel
Hundreds of US flights canceled as airport Starbucks lines stretch onto tarmac
Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival Queen dethroned, demoted to Jester of Leesville Li’l Smokies Jamboree
Intel falls short of job-creation promise as 50 Amish farmhands build semiconductor factory in single day
You can still expect the same fair, objective, hard-hitting news and analysis, only now more quickly and consistently. Are you already the smartest person in the office when it comes to discussing news and culture around the water cooler? Of course you are. You subscribe to Battle Line. But with a paid subscription in this new format, you’ll be able to run laps around your colleagues and finally get that big promotion you’ve been shooting for.*
Plus, paid subscribers will continue to receive our other popular segments, including:
Hey, Battle Line! - We respond to readers’ questions and concerns
This Month in History - The truth about history’s most consequential events they didn’t teach you in school
What Is It? - We look at a word or concept dominating the culture and help you make sense of it
Critic’s Corner - We review movies, books, podcasts and food and tell you whether you should try it too
And so much more! - This one is pretty self-explanatory
Thank you for your continued support of Battle Line, where the motto is, “News so real you’ll think it’s fake.” Oh, how we wish that wasn’t the case. But that’s how it feels when you’ve been lied to for so long and finally find a publication that actually cares about delivering the truth.
Corporate media has failed the American people for decades. But thanks to folks like you supporting outlets like this, we believe their reign of terror is soon coming to a much-deserved end.
Happy New Year! Hallelujah!
